Membership and Society of the Order
The Order of Reddere is maintained through the support of its members. Individuals may join the Society of the Order in one of two ways:
-
Through Admission and Investiture — granted by merit via nomination and review
-
Through Societal Membership — for supporters who wish to engage with and uphold the mission of the Order without being formally admitted
Annual Membership Fee: £25 per person
Note: Membership fees enable to Order to maintain its services and the Roll of the Order. All members are able to access the Orders Societal events and activities across the UK.
Admission-Based Membership
Those admitted to the Order contribute a one-time investiture fee, followed by an annual subscription. These funds support:
-
The production of regalia and ceremonial documents
-
The maintenance of the Book of Deeds, seals, and ceremonial materials
-
The charitable and community engagement work of the Order
-
The administration of honours, events, and investitures
Members in good standing are entitled to:
-
Use of post-nominals and ceremonial titles
-
Inclusion in the Book of Deeds
-
Full regalia and ceremonial privileges
-
Voting rights (where applicable)
-
Access to nomination and progression pathways
Failure to maintain an active subscription may result in the suspension of rights including title use, regalia display, and formal representation.
Societal Membership (Order Supporters)
Individuals who wish to support the mission and values of the Order but have not yet been nominated or invested may enrol as Societal Members.
Upon joining, they are conferred the rank of Elect Member of the Order of Reddere and become part of the Society.
This allows them to:
-
Support the charitable and civic work of the Order
-
Attend selected events and gatherings
-
Receive updates, publications, and invitations
-
Be listed as a member of the Order in the Society roll
Societal Members do not receive regalia or post-nominals unless they later undergo formal investiture. They may still be nominated for higher honours in the future.
