Nominate Someone – Recognition in the Order
The Order of Reddere exists to celebrate those whose lives are defined by service to others, quiet generosity, and moral character. Our honours are conferred not for fame or fortune, but for values lived.
Through a formal nomination and review process, individuals may be considered for admission to the Order, posthumous recognition, or receipt of a commendation or symbolic honour. Every name proposed becomes part of a long-standing tradition of honouring those who give back.
Who Can Be Nominated?
We welcome nominations for:

Volunteers, carers, and community leaders

Youth making meaningful contributions

Professionals going above and beyond in public service
-
Individuals quietly improving the lives of others
-
Those who have passed, but whose legacy deserves inscription in the Book of Deeds
Nominations are open to people of all nationalities, faiths, and backgrounds. Self-nominations are accepted where supporting evidence can be provided in order for the Grand Council to assess.
We encourage members of the order at all ranks to nominate others worthy of recognition.
The Process
The process for nomination and admission is as follows;

Submit a nomination form online

The nomination is reviewed by the Keeper of Titles and Honours

If shortlisted, it is presented to the Grand Council

Nominees may be provisionally admitted as Elects

Once approved, nominees are formally invited to join the Order

Upon investiture, they receive their regalia, Letters of Admission, and are inscribed into the Book of Deeds
Note: Submission of a nomination does not guarantee admission. All honours are merit-based and subject to Council approval.
Ranks and Honours
The Order of Reddere confers honours by merit, based on the values of service, humility, and public good. Nominations may result in one of the following distinctions, as outlined in the Order’s Constitution:

Member of the Order of Reddere (MoR) – Entry-level rank recognising notable service or contribution.

Officer of the Order of Reddere (OoR) – For those whose service demonstrates sustained leadership, dedication, or community impact.

Knight/Dame Commander of the Order (KCoR / DCoR) – Mid-level rank for distinguished public service or outstanding achievement.

Knight/Dame Grand Cross of the Order (GCoR) – The highest rank, awarded in exceptional cases of national or long-standing civic contribution.

Distinguished Service Recipient (DSR) – An honorary award granted by the Grand Council to acknowledge specific deeds of high merit, often outside the structure of formal ranks.

Lord or Lady of Reddere (HMR) – An honorary ceremonial title granted at the discretion of the Council. It does not confer rank, nobility, or voting rights.

Posthumous Recognition in the Book of Deeds – Reserved for individuals whose legacy exemplifies the values of the Order, allowing their name and contribution to be permanently inscribed.
All honours are considered by the Grand Council of Reddere, who assess each nomination in accordance with the Constitution. The final decision lies with the Lord Chancellor.
